Brandon Teena
She was a trans man who was raped and murdered. She was the victim of the worst hate crimes committed in United States in the 90’s. His life and death were the subject of the Academy Award-winning 1999 film Boys Don't Cry, which was based on the documentary film The Brandon Teena Story.

This is a complex and detailed study to identify cases of female transvestism between the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries in Holland. The results are a hundred and nineteen cases occurred between 1550 and 1839, demonstrating that it was not exceptional in the past that women have the appearance of man.

A note on Congress about homoeroticism and power porn by Frau Diamanda
Under the International Interdisciplinary Congress “loves de(s)generated” homoeroticism in Peru and Latin America: knowledge, discourses and subject” were presented various papers around the homoeroticism in literature, society, culture and performing arts. It also addressed the subject in writers like Lacan and Eve Sedgwick,  taking advantage to make an approach to their works and thoughts.
